Over a very difficult Blair Atholl course, the team of D D Smith and Graham Lowson scored a five over par 75 to finish third of nineteen teams taking part. A slightly below par performance from the experienced duo in this scratch foursomes competition was bettered only by the teams from Dunkeld and Milnathort, the latter winning the trophy with a three over par score of 73, and a better inward half.
