Whilst the Ladies Opening Saturday was a victim of the weather, nearly 60 ladies managed to attend the Opening Day Lunch.

The men were more fortunate with a large turnout for the Sunday start.

Captain Stevie Gardiner is seen toasting the start of the new season with the attending membership.

In the lead game, the Captain and his partner, Managing Secretary D D Smith, triumphed by a one hole margin over the partnership of Vice-Captain, Alan Watt and Match Secretary,John Riddell and this mirrored the match with a win for theCaptain's side.
