Playing Golf During COVID-19 Restrictions - Auchterarder Golf Club Guidance Policy - Update 06 January

Following the First Minister's update on Monday advising that mainland Scotland has moved from Level 4 to enhanced Level 4 (Stay at Home) and subsequent updates from both Scottish Golf and PGA Scotland we are now in a position to advise:

  • The Golf Course remains open for play (subject to weather restrictions) with a maximum of two players from up to two households (all tee times must be booked in advance).
  • The Practice Fairway remains open.
  • Golfers must stay close to home, travel only for essential purposes (which includes golf as part of the permitted exercise activites) and in line with the new legislation.
  • The Clubhouse and all facilities remain closed.
  • The Pro Shop is operating a click and collect service and starting facilities between 9.00am and 1.00pm (subject to change if the course is closed due to adverse weather).
  • Winter Leagues/Extra Medals will operate as normal when course conditions permit.

Any further advise will be updated as it becomes available. The latest Scottish Golf Guidelines on Golf Activity can be found here: Scottish Golf Guidance
