Playing Golf During COVID-19 Restrictions - Auchterarder Golf Club Guidance Policy - Update 11 September

Following the First Minister’s update in parliament today, Scottish Golf have now clarified that on course golf activities can continue under the current phase 3 guidance, with up to FOUR players from FOUR different households allowed to participate together.

There are, however, some major changes to the hospitality operation, with the following rules being effective from Monday 14th September:

• A maximum of six people from TWO households can meet both indoors and outdoors. Generally, this will require members to sit in tables of TWO.
• Staff will be required by law to wear face coverings.
• Members, guests and visitors will be required to wear face coverings while moving around inside the Clubhouse, such as entering or exiting the building or going to the toilet or locker room.

This obviously poses additional challenges for our bar and catering operations particularly with the servicing of visiting parties, so if you are wanting a restaurant table for your family unit, it is imperative that you book a table in advance.

Thank you very much for your ongoing support during these challenging times, as it remains imperative that we continue to adhere to government advice and policy, thus ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all members and staff alike.
