A Message from the Captain:
Dear Fellow Member
Within the attached pack you will be able to read summary reports of our performance over the past business year from our Managing Secretary and Honorary Treasurer.
At the start of this financial year, we recognised that there were some financial challenges on the horizon, not only in terms of our cost base due to inflation but also in terms of our membership retention and weather dependant visitor income – all detailed within the Honorary Treasurer’s report.
Summer 2025 was great, as was the condition of the course and as a result the Club benefitted financially from increased green fees and the associated bar revenues. Consequently, the Committee proposes that the Membership Subscriptions for next season should be increased by a below inflation 2.6%.
In terms of the AGM, in accordance with the Constitution, any matters members wish to raise under ‘Any Other Business’ (AOB) should be submitted in writing to: feedback@auchterardergolf.co.uk no later than Monday 10th November. It shall be a pre-requisite that the author of any item or their proxy attends the meeting to enable any possible discussion on a topic raised.
Finally, I would like to encourage as many members as possible to attend this year’s AGM and to support your Club Committee in the quest to serve you in a way that is expected of us.
